Open the group, tap 👥, then Share invite link. Friends who open it can join, and if you already added them by name, they can pick that name so their past expenses link to them.

When adding an expense, tap Camera or Photo library under “Scan a receipt”. Evenlo reads the items, tax and tip; then tap who had each item. Free accounts get 3 scans a month; Pro and Trip Pass groups are unlimited.

Instead of everyone paying back each person they borrowed from, Evenlo works out the smallest number of payments that settles everyone. Nobody pays more in total than they owe. You can switch to “Original” on the Balances tab.

Each group has a main currency for balances. Expenses can be in any of 160+ currencies. Evenlo looks up the day’s exchange rate automatically and saves it with the expense, so balances never change afterwards. Offline, it uses the last rates your phone saw.

Yes. Your groups, expenses and balances are saved on your phone. With no signal you can add or edit expenses, record payments and even create new groups; they show with ⏳ and sync automatically when you’re back online. Receipt scanning needs a connection, so offline Evenlo keeps the photo and reminds you to scan it later.

Tap Settle up. If the person has added payment details, you’ll see buttons for Revolut, PayPal, Monzo, Swish, UPI, Venmo or Cash App that open with the amount filled in, or their IBAN with buttons to copy the amount and a reference. When you come back to Evenlo it asks whether to record the payment. Add your own details in Settings → How people can pay you (tap More payment apps for Swish, UPI, Venmo and Cash App). Using Bizum, MB Way or BLIK? Put your number in the Note field so friends know how to pay you.

When money comes back, like a returned deposit or a cancelled booking, add it with ↩️ Refund at the top of the expense screen. Choose who received the money and who it belongs to. Evenlo shares it out like an expense in reverse, so whoever got the money owes everyone else their part.

Yes. Amount fields work as a calculator: type 12.50+8+4.20 or 3×4.50 using the + − × ÷ keys above the keyboard, and Evenlo shows the total. Tap = to keep just the result.

Evenlo is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Polish, Indonesian, Japanese and Thai, and follows your phone’s language. To use a different language just for Evenlo: on iPhone, go to Settings → Evenlo → Language; on Android 13 or later, Settings → System → Languages → App languages → Evenlo.

Tap Settle up in the group, or Record next to a payment on the Balances tab.

On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Evenlo. On Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Evenlo. You keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Buy it from the group you want to unlock, and it applies automatically. If you bought it elsewhere, open that group’s upgrade screen and tap Apply my Trip Pass to this group.

In the app go to Settings → Delete account, or see how to delete your account if you can’t open the app. Your login and profile are deleted straight away. Expenses in shared groups stay so your friends’ balances remain correct. See the privacy policy for details.
